REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSION NOW OPEN

On behalf of King’s College Hospital London,  we cordially invite you to take part in the First International Conference of Critical Care Nephrology in Children on 27th – 29th August 2020 which is formally endorsed by the Paediatric Intensive Care Society (PICS) and the European Society of Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC)

The conference venue is in the heart of Westminster at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre.

Within recent years, significant advancements have been made in the application of Renal Replacement Therapies in the management of Acute Kidney Injury in the paediatric and neonatal populations. Many of these innovations will be presented and discussed at the conference along with inclusion of pre-conference workshops in providing a unique and valuable hands-on experience.

27th August, 2020: 2 workshops hosted at King’s College Hospital, London

  • Basic RRT Hands-on Workshop: Multiple interactive and practical sessions on various aspects and modalities of Renal Replacement Therapies.
  • Advanced RRT Hands-on Workshop: Multiple interactive and practical sessions on various aspects and modalities of advanced renal replacement therapy – tandem therapies, CRRT and ECMO, Total plasma exchange, neonatal machines, etc will be discussed.

Prof Goldstein will be giving a talk on the practicalities of citrate anticoagulation to both the groups  

28th and 29th August, 2020: 2-day conference at Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London

These two days will cover a wide range of topics encountered in critical care nephrology. In addition to AKI and RRT, world-renowned experts will discuss key topics including renal transplant, HUS, fluids in PICU, amongst others. Discussions will include keynote lectures, debates, symposia and panel discussions.

Renowned international speakers will be participating with Prof Claudio Ronco delivering the keynote lecture. We will have 40 international experts from around the globe participating in this conference.

Abstracts are invited to be submitted for this conference, the top 5 rated abstracts will be discussed at the plenary sessions and presenters will be eligible for free registration to the conference. Abstracts submission due date is 31st May and all accepted abstracts will be published in Pediatric Nephrology
