PICS recognises that many of its members are physically and mentally exhausted at the present time and that the NHS needs to think carefully how it resumes ‘business as usual’. While PICS will contribute to any review of staffing roles that maintains safe and effective care to our patients, PICS supports the UK CCNA in advocating for recognised nurse: patient ratios to be the standard to which we work post-pandemic.
