We are committed to ensure all paediatric critical care staff have access to coordinated and complete education at local, regional and supra-regional level by providing links to available resources through the PCCSELS web page.
The PCCSELS group aims to facilitate the development of a comprehensive educational package comprising e-learning, simulation and technology enhanced learning resources aimed at promoting excellence in paediatric intensive care, wherever it is delivered. The initial educational resources developed will address the core competencies of the ICTPICM training curriculum.
Terms of Reference
- The PCCSELS group will elect a chair, co-chair, secretary and IT specialist to form the executive committee. These appointments will be for a period of 2 years and can be re-elected for up to two further terms of office.
- Structure-to develop a network of those involved in delivering paediatric simulation throughout the UK and to meet 3-4 times per year- including one at the annual PICs meeting. The PCCSELS group has official recognition through PCCS and as such forms a specialty working group.
- Membership-is open to any interested member of PCCS within the UK and to non members of PCCS through association.
- All meetings will be minuted and placed on the PCCS simulation webpage.
